About bb.q Chicken Marlton
The bb.q in our name stands for "Best of the Best Quality", and that's exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken🍗 is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you've tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It's a tremendous amount of work, but it's all worth it when you take that first bite.

“Good service deserves applause. Bad service deserves notes.” We usually order our BBQ Chicken from the Mount Laurel location, but this time we stopped into the Marlton store because of convenience that day. And immediately, you can feel the difference. Mount Laurel just runs a little tighter, cleaner, more cohesive, less cluttered, and overall a friendlier vibe. Marlton, while still serving the same menu, doesn’t quite hit that same mark. That said, the food itself is still consistently good. That part doesn’t miss. Where things started to slip a bit was with the bubble tea. I ordered a green tea, and it was made as a milk tea instead. Normally I would have said something, but the interaction felt a little off and I didn’t feel like pushing it, so I just went with it. Ironically… it was actually pretty good. Not what I ordered, but not bad. Service-wise, there was a bit of an attitude, which made the whole experience feel less welcoming than what I’m used to at the Mount Laurel location. So while the food delivers, the overall experience just doesn’t feel as polished. If you’re choosing between locations, I’d still go out of my way for Mount Laurel. Notes attached.

The chicken is AMAZING! The sauce is a perfect balance. The honey garlic was the best. The rolled ice real is really cool as well. A variety of flavors + free toppings

Our first time ordering from bb.q chicken and I have never had Korean food. We ordered the kimchi fried rice, Galbi, Gangnam, and honey garlic chicken. It was all SO delicious!! The chicken is cooked perfectly and crispy on the outside. I will definitely be eating here again!!

I came in to have some dinner with family and I didn't have the best experience. The service was very poor. The two ladies at the corner were more focused on their phones, had an unpleasant attitude and in general, weren't friendly. I even over heard them speaking poorly about another customer which was really rude. My family member didn't like her drink (it was very frothy and tasted a bit odd) but one of the ladies at the corner (i believe her name was Olivia? - brown hair) said she can't have a refund. I personally think that she should have at-least offered her another flavor to try or gave her a more kind suggestion. Not shoo her away like she's a bother. The food was honestly good! It's easy to tell that the cook (a tall guy) is very hardworking and puts much effort into his cooking! He rushed around filling orders and providing delicious meals!

I recently ate at BBQ Chicken in Marlton and would give the restaurant 4 stars. The chicken was generally good and made fresh to order, but there wasn’t enough sauce at first. When I asked about getting more, one of the employees even suggested adding a fee, which was disappointing. If you’re looking for perfect chicken every time, I’d definitely recommend checking out Ten Asian Food Hall in Cherry Hill; their chicken is consistently spot-on.
